Nistarini College Central Library (Sarada Pathabhaban) is the “Heart of the Institute”. Library building is situated at the centre of the Institute. The total area of the Library is 2400 + 450 = 2850 sq. ft.
The main objective of the library is to disseminate information to the faculty, students, teaching and non-teaching staff, research scholars of this college. The library has a rich collection of text books, reference books, e-resources, journals, magazines, CD’s, newspapers etc. to provide various types of information to its users. Books are arranged according to the Dewey Decimal Classification (19th Ed.)
The whole Library is under the surveillance of CCTV.
The Library is using Library Management Software(LMS) for its automation activities and provides Open Access facilities and users can also search their required resources through Online Public Access Catalogue(OPAC)
